Borussia Dortmund struck three times in six minutes to secure a 3-1 away win over Wolfsburg.
The win ensured Dortmund ends their 4-game winless run, pushing them to sixth position in the league.
This will be their first away victory in the 2024/25 Bundesliga campaign. Meanwhile, BVB have not had an away victory since April’s success over Borussia Monchengladbach.
Dortmund opened the scoring in the 25th minute as Donyell Malen shot home a close-range volley following a corner.
Maximilian Beier doubled the lead just three minutes after when his superb finish ricocheted in off the post.
Two minutes later, Beier then set up Julian Brandt, who just returned to action from injury, to make it 3-0.
The hosts pulled one back with a Denis Vavro header from a corner in the 58th minute.
However, they failed to capitalise on Dortmund’s deficit as Pascal Gross was sent off for a last-man foul on Lukas Nmecha.
Dortmund moved to 25 points to sit on sixth position, while Wolfsburg remains 11th with 21 points.
