Dzeko Set To Sign For Fenerbahce On A Free Transfer 

Following Inter Milan’s Champions League final heartbreak against Manchester City a few days ago, the club’s striker Edin Dzeko is set to finalize a move to Turkish side Fenerbahce.

Dzeko’s deal at Inter is set to expire at the end of this month, and despite being reportedly offered a one-year extension, the former Roma, City and Wolfsburg striker opted for a new challenge with a significant pay cut in view.

Barring unforeseen circumstances, the 37-year-old is set to sign a deal which will see him stay at the club until the summer of 2025 and will earn around €4 million net plus add-ons, along with a substantial sign-on bonus.

Fenerbahce’s confirmation tweet reads: To inform. World-famous striker Edin Dzeko will come to Istanbul to pass the health checks and complete the transfer negotiations. We present it to the public.”

Dzeko scored 14 goals and provided five assists for Inter across all competitions last season.
