Following his exit from Liverpool, Roberto Firmino has completed a summer move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli on a free transfer that ties him at the club for the next three years.

The Brazilian becomes the latest marque signing in the league following the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante and Edouard Mendy who has also departed Europe to further their career in the Middle East country.

The 31-year-old joins Senegal goalkeeper Edouard Mendy at Al-Ahli after the shot-stopper departed from Chelsea last week.

The Brazilian forward spent eight years with the Reds, winning the Premier League, the FA Cup, the EFL Cup, the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, and the Club World Cup.

He also made 362 appearances for Liverpool, the 40th most in club history, and scored 111 goals, providing 72 assists.

Al-Ahli announced Firmino’s arrival via a video posted on Twitter a few hours back.
