This includes the English FA, who contacted him earlier this season about the England job. Guardiola has not ruled out discussing the role with the FA. He has expressed interest in managing at the World Cup and reportedly likes England’s current squad.
Despite having several options, the most likely outcome is that he will extend his contract with City for another year. Guardiola has led City to six Premier League titles, and the chance to win more trophies might be too tempting for him to pass up.
Some believe he may take a sabbatical, as he did after leaving Barcelona in 2012. However nothing has been confirmed. As Guardiola leads City in what is shaping up to be another exciting title race, with Arsenal and Liverpool as strong competitors, it remains unclear when he will reveal his decision.
