Cristiano Ronaldo has declared himself as the most complete footballer in the world, insisting he has “never seen anyone better”.
Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, turns 40 and is the all-time leading goalscorer in history, having netted 923 times.
Having plied his trade at Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, and now with Al-Nassr, the Portuguese have had a huge successful career.
Ronaldo also holds the record for the most international goals, scoring 135 times for Portugal in 217 appearances.
Meanwhile, in an interview with La Sexta, Ronaldo does not think any other player in history matches him.
The Al-Nassr man said, “Honestly, I have never seen anyone better than me. I believe I am the most complete player to ever exist.
“I can do it all in football. I’m good with heading, I strike free-kicks well, I shoot well with my left foot, I’m fast, and I’m strong.
“Personal preferences vary; some prefer Lionel Messi, Pele, or Diego Maradona. I understand and respect that. But to say Cristiano isn’t complete is a lie. I am the most complete.”
“I am the best goalscorer in history. If I reach 1,000 goals, great. If not, that’s fine too. Numbers don’t lie”, Ronaldo added.
Cristiano Ronaldo is also the top goalscorer in the Champions League, banging 140 goals in 183 matches.
