Ex-Borrusia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham, who was crowned the 2023 Golden Boy and Golden Boy Web award yesterday, disclosed his commitment to winning trophies for his club and country.
Bellingham who joined Madrid last summer for €103 million transfer fee has been in stellar form so far for the Los Blancos, making him the first player to win the accolade from the Santiago Bernabéu.

“I have to have big goals, to win the lot if possible. I enjoy playing for my country, England, and with Real Madrid as well,” the Englishman said at the award ceremony in Turin.
He continued: “The pressure is huge but I’m so happy to represent both of these teams. I’m going to give it my all to win trophies both for my country and for Real Madrid.”
According to reports, Bellingham secured the Golden Boy award with an impressive 97% of the votes, the same as Kylian Mbappe, during the Frenchman’s triumph.
However, the Madridista garnered a higher number of votes due to the larger number of voters, as 45 out of 50 journalists chose him as the winner, while the remaining 5 positioned him as the second choice.

With 15 goals and four assists so far for Carlo Ancelotti’s team, Jude Bellingham has returned to Madrid, as they prepare for their next game against Real Betis on Saturday.
