Former Real Madrid midfielder Francisco Román Alarcón Suárez ‘Isco,’ has renewed his contract with current side— Real Betis, until 2027.
Isco joined the Los Verdiblancos as a free agent back in July, after being without a club for a while. The Spaniard has now gone on to win MVP 10 times this season.

The club’s official announcement reads: “Real Betis Balompié and Francisco Román Alarcón Suárez ‘Isco’ have reached an agreement for the player’s contract extension. This way, the footballer will be a Green and White until 2027.
“Isco (Benalmádena, Spain, 21 of April of 1992), arrived at Real Betis in July of 2023. Since his arrival, his performance level has been outstanding and he has become one of the main players in the squad.
“In total, Isco has played 24 official games with real Betis, scored 3 goals and provided 4 assists.”
The 31-year-old has created more chances than any other player in La Liga so far this season, with 55 chances created so far in the campaign.
Next up for Real Betis who sits seventh on the log is an away league fixture at Celta Vigo on January 3, 2023.
