Jimmy Butler returned from a one-game absence and led the Golden State Warriors to a 109-106 victory over the Houston Rockets in Game 4. Butler, who had been out with a pelvic contusion, rejoined the starting lineup and played 40 minutes, scoring 27 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and dishing out 6 assists. He also blocked a shot and converted all 12 free throws, including three crucial ones with 58.7 seconds left in the game.
Butler’s performance was remarkable, considering he was still in pain from his injury. He mentioned wanting to play and contribute to the team’s success. “More than anything, I just wanted to play. This is the best time of the year for everybody; this is why you go through what you go through,” Butler said.
The Warriors now lead the series 3-1, with the next game scheduled for May 1 at the Toyota Center in Houston. Butler’s return was a significant boost to the team, and his clutch performances down the stretch helped seal the win.
