It has been announced that basketball star, Michael Jordan has gotten a buyer for this former mansion.

Michael Jordan’s iconic Illinois mansion is finally off the market. After 12 long years, the property has found a buyer, and the sale is pending. The 32,683-square-foot estate in Highland Park, Illinois, was initially listed for a whopping $29 million in 2012. However, the price was significantly reduced over the years, with the most recent asking price being $14.855 million.

This luxurious property is a basketball fan’s dream, featuring an indoor, regulation-sized basketball court, a tennis court, a putting green, and a swimming pool. The mansion also boasts nine bedrooms, 19 bathrooms, an office space, library, cigar room, and a 14-car garage. And, as a nod to Jordan’s legendary basketball career, the front gate features a life-sized “23”.

Jordan purchased the seven-acre property in 1991 and built the custom mansion in 1995. The estate has undergone significant renovations, including a major remodel in 2009. After years of trying to sell the property, Jordan has finally found a buyer, although the purchaser’s identity remains a mystery. The sale is expected to be one of the most expensive in the Chicagoland area this year.
