Knicks Extends Streak: Brunson’s Season High 55 Powers 7th Straight win.

Jalen Brunson’s incredible performance led the New York Knicks to their seventh consecutive win, defeating the Washington Wizards 136-132 in overtime. Brunson scored a season-high 55 points, including 42 in the second half and nine in overtime, securing the win. He also had nine assists and shot 18-of-31 from the field and 16-of-17 from the free-throw line.

Karl-Anthony Towns supported Brunson with 30 points and 14 rebounds, making them the second Knicks duo to score 50+ and 30+ points in the same game since Richie Guerin and Willie Naulls in 1962. Justin Champagnie led the Wizards with a career-high 31 points and 10 rebounds.

The Knicks’ win streak is their longest this season, and they’ll face the Wizards again on Monday. Brunson’s performance has made him one of three players in franchise history to achieve three 50+ point games, alongside Hall of Famers Richie Guerin and Bernard King.
