Napoli and Inter Milan played a 1-1 draw as the hosts managed to gain a point with a late goal.
Franco Dimarco gave Inter the lead in the first half, before Philip Billing equalised for Napoli in the 87th minute.
Following Atalanta’s draw with Venezia, both teams were hoping to capitalise and gain ground in the title race.
The Nerazzuris had the first laugh with a marvellous goal from Dimarco in the 22nd minute. The full-back whipped in a spectacular free-kick, a perfect left-footed shot just under the bar.
The hosts tried to fight back but could not break the resilient defence of Inter in the first half.
Napoli continued to push for an equaliser and were almost at the verge of losing the game.
However, a late strike from Billing, who scored his first goal in his second appearance, earned a point for the Partenopei.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan remains top of the league, with Napoli in second place.
