The match between Arsenal and Brentford at the Emirates Stadium concluded in a 1-1 draw.

Arsenal initially took the lead through a goal from Thomas Partey, the result of a swift counter-attack initiated by goalkeeper David Raya and driven forward by Declan Rice. However, Brentford responded, with Yoane Wissa scoring an equalizer, disrupting Arsenal’s hopes of securing all three points.

Early in the game, Arsenal had a goal disallowed by VAR due to an offside call against Kieran Tierney. The first half was marked by close chances and defensive efforts from both sides, with Brentford’s Kristoffer Ajer making a crucial block to deny Gabriel Martinelli.

In the second half, Arsenal’s Partey scored following a long run and assist from Declan Rice. Brentford, however, fought back and Wissa leveled the score at 74th minute, capitalizing on a corner kick situation.

In the latter part of the match, Arsenal faced additional challenges as Jorginho had to leave the field due to injury after all substitutions had been made. This made Arsenal finish the game with 10 men.

Despite late attempts, Arsenal was unable to secure a winning goal. The result leaves Arsenal with one point, and impacting their position in the premier league standings.
