Gabe Vincent also had a notable performance, scoring 11 points with four assists.
The Lakers started strong, with Jaxson Hayes receiving two alley-oops, one of which was Dončić’s first assist as a Laker. The team maintained a significant lead throughout the game, with a 25-point cushion at the end of the third quarter.
While the Jazz attempted to close the gap, the Lakers’ offense proved too strong. Dončić’s debut was a noticeable factor in the team’s success, and his chemistry with LeBron James was evident throughout the game.
The Lakers’ win brings their record to 31-19, with a five-game winning streak. They currently lead the Pacific Standings, with the LA Clippers and Golden State Warriors trailing behind.
