Leeds United are preparing a surprise move for Bournemouth defender Max Aarons. Leeds boss Daniel Farke is a big fan of Aarons, given that he worked with the right-back during his time in charge of Norwich City.
The West Yorkshire giants have registered their interest in signing the 24-year-old on loan for the season. Leeds are presently set to turn their attention to Aarons as Farke looks to enhance defensive options for the new season.
The Championship club have conceded six goals in their opening three matches and are without a win so far this season. Leeds United hope Max Aarons can help secure their defensive line. Farke is looking to reunite with Aarons before the 31st August cut-off.
The right-back offers extensive experience in the Premier League and Championship and is capable of being placed into the starting lineup immediately. Aarons made 20 appearances for Bournemouth last season in the top flight, creating one assist.
Leeds are also attempting to bolster their attacking options before the transfer window shuts. Sunderland’s Jack Clarke had been their top target. However, they look set to miss out on him after Ipswich agreed a £15million deal with the Black Cats.
