Barcelona secured a 2-1 victory over Celta Vigo courtesy of goals from Robert Lewandowski in both halves, as they move on to third on the La Liga table.

The opening minutes of the match were keenly contested, as both teams vied for control, with Lamine Yamal and Jorgen Strand Larsen both denied at the two ends of the pitch.

Barcelona’s confidence however grew into the game, as their dominance increased, resulting in Lewandowski’s goal just before halftime.

Less than two minutes into the second half, Celta Vigo equalized through an Iago Aspas shot deflected off Jules Koundé.

Despite pressure from Celta Vigo, Barcelona won a late penalty when Beltrán fouled Yamal, allowing Lewandowski to convert the decisive goal after his initial penalty was saved.

Lewandowski’s composure secured Barcelona’s fourth consecutive away La Liga win, while Celta Vigo’s loss leaves them precariously positioned above the relegation zone.
