Jurgen Klopp has said he can’t wait for the “first whistle,” for his boys to orchestrate their plans for their visitors.

Klopp while trolling his Visitors started his conversation as “I thought they looked like [title contenders] last season but then some results kicked in or whatever.”

Klopp while speaking with Journalist during the press conference on Friday highlighted the plans of Liverpool ahead of the game and what a victory over Arsenal means to the Reds.

Although, Klopp is boastful of his stats against Mikel Arteta and Arsenal having won nine games and drawn four times with two defeats in 15 meetings with the Gunners. The German gaffer is optimistic to add a feather to his cap when they meet this evening at Anfield.

“Super strong team, that’s what they are and they bring in Rice it doesn’t make you worse.

“They are a good mix between physicality, big strong, fast, well-coached, they have my respect but we want the points anyway.”

Liverpool are in the third position with 38 points and a draw today would see them displaced Arsenal who are table toppers by goal difference.

“We are in the position we are, it’s not that bad. We play a super strong team who played an exceptional season last season and is even better this season.

“Massive game, it’s great to have them, we met obviously quite frequently and it’s good, but we have to make sure that we make it a proper Anfield experience.”

And about the terrific atmosphere at Anfield, Klopp stated that he has enjoyed every bit of the stadium with Liverpool scoring in all their home games until last week when Manchester United broke the jinx.

“I don’t order atmosphere or whatever and there’s to home games where we had 62 finishes, it’s pretty special I would say.

“When I turned around and we missed a chance and people were sitting like that it was like ‘what do you want?’ Creating a chance is as close as you can get to scoring a goal.

“We are in a pretty good position in the league, maybe quicker than we expected.

“It’s not criticism, I enjoy 99.7% of each second in that stadium, I love it to bits.

“I didn’t know that people would take me word for word, maybe after all these years I should be used to that!”
