Lonnie Walker IV is heading back to the NBA, signing a two-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers worth $3.7 million. Walker, a 26-year-old shooting guard, has played for several teams, including the San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers, and Brooklyn Nets. He’s known for his athleticism and scoring ability, averaging nearly 10 points and 38.4% shooting from 3-point range in 17.4 minutes per game for the Nets last season.

Walker’s most recent stint was with Zalgiris Kaunas in the Euroleague, where he averaged 13.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. He had an NBA-out clause in his contract, which he exercised to join the 76ers.

The signing is expected to give the 76ers a boost, particularly with their offense, which has struggled this season. Walker will likely compete for minutes on the wing alongside Paul George, Tyrese Maxey, and others.
