Manchester United Suffers Casemiro Blow

According to the latest report from Manchester United, midfielder Casemiro will be missing in action for the next couple of weeks after suffering from a hamstring injury.

The Brazilian international suffered the injury during United’s Carabao Cup defeat to Newcastle United on Wednesday and was replaced by Sofyan Amrabat immediately into the start of the second half.

Casemiro was just returning from the sidelines, after missing out on the Red Devils last three matches, due to an ankle injury he picked up during international duties for Brazil before his recent ordeal.

“Casemiro will be out for several weeks due to a hamstring injury suffered during our Carabao Cup defeat to Newcastle United on Wednesday.

“The Brazilian midfielder was withdrawn at half-time due to the issue, and subsequent assessment has revealed a strain that will keep him out for a number of weeks, “United’s statement reads.
