Napoli won 1-0 at Torino to extend their lead on the table, courtesy of Scott McTominay’s first-half strike.

The former Manchester United prodigy’s effort was enough to secure the win, extending their lead to four points.

McTominay broke the stalemate with a moment of quality in the 31st minute, having received a wonderful pass from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

The league leaders played comfortably in the second half, although they were unable to extend the scoreline.

They had chances fell to Romelu Lukaku and Mathias Olivera, who were unable to make it count.

However, Napoli maintained the one goal lead, to earn all three points and secure their spot at the top.

They now have opened a four-point gap between themselves and second-placed Atalanta, who play on Monday.

Meanwhile, Torino are 12th in the table just four points above the relegation zone.
