Manchester United midfielder, Scott McTominay has revealed the changes Erik ten Hang made ahead of their clash with Chelsea. McTominay was instrumental for United’s 2-1 win over the Blues last night and while speaking said the Dutch gaffer has limit his rigorous training hence; reducing the pressure on the players.

Ten Hag, who has been criticized for his management style and United’s injury problems this season, felt some relief after the victory.
McTominay revealed after the game that Ten Hag had gone a little easier on his players before the match with Chelsea. As a result of this, they were calm enough and created plenty of opportunities. Though they appeared to be back to their peak offensively against the Blues.
McTominay told Amazon Prime: “What changed? The manager. The way we approached the game and some light training sessions to keep the energy high with a lot of games coming and keep the pressure on the teams above us”.
The game was a most-win for Ten Hang who had been backlash by the public in recent weeks. Despite Saturday’s lackluster performance against Newcastle, United has now won four of their past five Premier League games.
The Scottish midfielder and the Red Devils will play their next match on Saturday, December 9, against Bournemouth, with the goal of making their first-ever appearance in the top four this season.
