AC Milan has completed the signing of Kyle Walker on loan from Manchester City, with an option to buy.
Milan will cover the £175,000-a-week wages of the English defender for the duration of his spell at San Siro.
As part of the deal, the Italian side would give him a two-year deal, if he impresses between now and the summer.
Walker only decided to join Milan, turning down several offers, after asking to leave Man City earlier this month.
The 34-year-old joined City from Tottenham in 2017 and has since made 319 appearances for the club. He has also won 17 major trophies with City in seven years.
Meanwhile, he will be joining a fellow Englishmen Fikayo Tomori, Tammy Abraham and Ruben Loftus-Cheek in Milan.
Following his switch, the full-back rolled credits on his glittering seven-year stint with Man City. He also gave thanked the club, manager, teammates, fans and family, for an the time spent in Manchester and their supports.
The England international enjoyed tremendous success at the Etihad, winning every title available. He won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups and the UEFA Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup.
On his departure, City issued a statement, as they went on to wish him luck.
“Everyone at Manchester City wishes Kyle the very best of luck for the rest of the season”, the club stated.
Milan followed with their own statement as they also revealed Walker will don the number 32 shirt.
Kyle Walker could make his debut on Sunday as Milan faces Parma.
