The Cavaliers showed remarkable resilience in the absence of Darius Garland, who was sidelined with a hip injury. Evan Mobley stepped up with 25 points, 13 rebounds, and eight assists, helping the team dominate the Grizzlies on the glass, 57-37.
Jarrett Allen, playing with a bad hand, contributed 13 points and 10 rebounds, while De’Andre Hunter and Max Strus chipped in with 12 and 11 points, respectively.
The Grizzlies put up a strong fight, with Jaren Jackson Jr. leading the team with 22 points. Ja Morant added 21 points and 10 assists, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Cavaliers’ balanced attack.
This win marks the Cavaliers’ best record after 57 games in NBA history, with a 47-10 record. They’ll look to continue their momentum on the road against the Orlando Magic on Tuesday.
