Musiala nets first ever hat-trick in Bayern DFB Pokal win

Bayern Munich defeated Mainz 4-0 in the DFB Pokal, as in-form Jamal Musiala bagged a first-half hat-trick.

The Bundesliga leaders struck four times in the first-half to qualify into the DFB Pokal third round.

Musiala opened the scoring in the 2nd minute, as he slotted home Harry Kane, after a powerful run down the left by Alphonso Davies.

The German attacker headed in the second goal in the 37th from close range, in run for his first career hat-trick.

The visitors kept their foot on the gas as Leroy Sane made it 3-0. Musiala completed the rout in the stoppage time of the first interval, to score his first ever hat-trick.
