NBA Emirates Cup. A New Chapter in Basketball

The Emirates NBA Cup is an in-season tournament featuring all 30 NBA teams, divided into six groups of five teams each. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the tournament:

Group Play (November 12 – December 3, 2024)

Each team plays four designated Group Play games against teams within their group. Games will be played on Tuesdays and Fridays, and there will be 12 matchups featured each week, with national TV broadcasts on TNT, ESPN, and NBA TV.

Knockout Rounds

Quarterfinals (December 10-11, 2024): Single-elimination games featuring the six group winners and two “wild cards” (teams with the next best records).

Semifinals (December 14, 2024): Held at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Championship (December 17, 2024): Held at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The Emirates NBA Cup replaces the NBA In-Season Tournament, the tournament features a new logo and format. Fans can purchase tickets and NBA Experiences packages for the Semifinals and Championship games.

The tournament will be played during the 2024-25 NBA regular season. The winning team will receive the Emirates NBA Cup trophy and a $1 million prize.
