The Phoenix Suns had an incredible comeback win against hosts Denver Nuggets winning by four points at the NBA pre-season tournament.

The game ended 118-114 in favour of Kelvin Durant’s Phoenix, as Nick Jovic, despite scoring 21 points, wasn’t sufficient for the Nuggets as the final battle was confirmed in the fourth quarter.

The Nuggets won the first two quarters, scoring 33 and 27 points respectively but lost the second half, registering just 30 and 24 points.

However, Phoenix Suns came back in the second half, scoring below 30 points in the first half, 26 and 25 respectively, to punish their opponents. They scored 37 points in the third and 30 in the final quarters.

This was the Suns’ return to winning ways after their last defeat to Detroit Piston two days ago at the NBA Pre-season.

The Nuggets got the first basket from Michael Porter Junior before Royce O’Neale scored for the Suns, scoring the first three-pointer in the game.

Sun’s summary of the game saw them score more three-pointers than their opponents as rookie player, Ryan Burn shined, scoring six of 11 attempts. Burn registered 20 points, and made four defensive and rebounds. He then blocked three times and created four assists.
