“..Neymar Has A very Strong Desire To Return To Santos…” Ademir Quintino Reveals

According to reports, Neymar is already making plans to leave Al-Hilal and come back to Santos before the 2026 World Cup. It seems like he only took on a new challenge in his football career when he traveled to Saudi Arabia in August.

He was rumoured to have signed a four-year contract in the Middle East, but that is allegedly not the case. Reports of a two-year contract are more accurate, with the forward not planning to stay at Al-Hilal for a long period of time.

In 2025, the former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain star will return to his hometown of Santos, claims Brazilian journalist Ademir Quintino. He said on his social media channels: “During conversations with friends of Neymar Senior and Neymar Junior, I received the information that they did not sign a four-year contract with the Saudis but rather a two-year contract so he can return (to Santos) a year before the World Cup.”

“Neymar approached Santos and asked to return. I have friends in common with Neymar, whom I will not name, but he has a very strong desire to return to Santos.”

Neymar, who is currently Brazil’s all-time greatest scorer, has made just three outings for Al-Hilal thus far and has yet to score in those games. He has never hidden the fact that he wants to return to Santos at some point, with the intention of doing so a year before the 2026 World Cup finals in Canada, Mexico and  Unite States in 2026.
