Official: Suarez Reunites With Messi at Inter Miami

Uruguayan legend Luis Suarez has completed a move to Major League Soccer side — Inter Miami, as a free agent, having left Gremio after his contract expiration.

Suarez signs a contract that’ll see him ply his trade at the MLS throughout 2024, where he’ll be reuniting with his friends and ex-Barcelona teammates: Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba — who all share four La Liga titles and a Champions League trophy between 2014-2020.

Inter Miami captured the striker’s signature after he was recently named the Best Player and Best Striker in the Brazilian league, an accolade he won after scoring 26 goals and notching up 17 assists in over 53 appearances as Gremio won the Campeonato Gaúcho and Recopa Gaúcha.
