Vitor Roque, a Brazilian youngster has completed a €30 million move from Athletico Paranaense to Barcelona on a contract set to expire on 30 June 2031.
The 18-year-old teamed up with Xavi’s side this morning and will join the rest of his team-mates for training on December 29th, as they return to action following the festive break.
The Catalan giants announced his arrival via their official X (formerly Twitter) account a few minutes ago, with a picture and a caption “Vítor Roque is here.”

With a release clause set at 500 million euros, Roque is set to serve as a backup to striker Robert Lewandowski.
“My dream became reality. I’m here to learn from this group and to score goals for Barcelona.
“I can’t wait to get started,” he said.
Roque scored 12 goals and registered 3 assists in 25 games in this season’s Brazilian Série A.
