The Chicago Bulls announced on Friday that forward Patrick Williams will undergo surgery on his left foot and miss the remainder of the campaign.
Williams’s initial bone edoema in his left foot has kept him out of action since January 25.
Williams, 22, is averaging 27.3 minutes, 1.5 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 10 points this season. The Bulls’ core is once again damaged by the loss. Earlier this month, Bulls standout Zach LaVine underwent surgery on his right foot that would terminate his season.
With a 26–30 record, the Bulls are now ranked ninth in the East.
