Erling Haaland recently signed a long-term contract that increased his wages from £375,000 to £500,000 per week. This means he now makes around £2.2 million ($2.9 million) a month, including bonuses and image rights.
Kevin De Bruyne is the second-highest-paid player in the league. The 33-year-old Belgian midfielder earns £432,000 per week, which amounts to about £1.7 million ($2.2 million) a month. His current contract is set to expire in June, and there is speculation about his potential departure from the club.
Casemiro from Manchester United and Mohamed Salah from Liverpool share the third spot in salary rankings. Both players earn £376,250 per week, which is about £1.5 million ($1.94 million) monthly. Casemiro, who transferred from Real Madrid for £70 million ($91 million) in 2022, became the highest-paid player at United upon his arrival.
Despite criticism over his recent performances, the Brazilian midfielder has expressed his commitment to seeing out his contract. Meanwhile, Salah’s future at Liverpool remains uncertain. The Egyptian winger’s contract is set to expire in June, and negotiations over an extension are ongoing.
Marcus Rashford from Manchester United and Raheem Sterling from Chelsea complete the top five earners, each making £349,000 per week, or £1.4 million ($1.8 million) per month. Reports indicate that Manchester United covers 75 percent of Rashford’s wages, with Aston Villa paying the rest. Likewise, Chelsea pays most of Sterling’s salary, while Arsenal contributes a smaller portion of his earnings.
In addition to player salaries, Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, is the highest-earning coach in the Premier League. He reportedly earns £416,000 per week, which adds up to £1.7 million ($1.9 million) monthly. His former assistant, Mikel Arteta, is the manager of Arsenal and ranks second in earnings. Arteta receives £309,000 per week, equating to £1.2 million ($1.6 million) per month.
Another notable name on the list of managerial earnings is David Moyes. He returned to Everton earlier this year after Sean Dyche’s departure. Moyes earns £257,000 per week, which is approximately £1 million ($1.3 million) monthly.
