Paris Saint Germain’s central defender Presnel Kimpembe, has extended his contract with the French giant until 30th June 2026.
Kimpembe who has been with PSG since 2005 worked his way through the club’s ranks before signing his first professional contract with the Parisian club in March 2015.
Over the past eight years, the 28-year-old has notched up 237 appearances and won 23 trophies including seven French Championships, six Coupes de France, five League Cups and five Trophées des Champions.
“I’m delighted to be continuing my story with the club I love. I would like to thank Paris Saint-Germain, the President, and the fans for their renewed faith. I hope to wear these colours again as soon as possible,” Kimpembe said after extending his contract.
The 2018 World Cup winner with the French national team hasn’t been in action for PSG after picking up an Achilles tendon injury that ruled him out of the season.
PSG’s Presnel Kimpembe has suffered an injury in his right Achilles tendon and will miss the return leg against Bayern, as well as the rest of the season.

However, the club has confirmed that Kimpembe is due to undergo surgery in the next few days to return to competitive action as soon as possible.
