Rodri wins the 2024 Ballon d’Or

Manchester City and Spain midfielder, Rodrigo Hernandez has won 2024 Ballon d’Or.

Rodri won the award ahead of Real Madrid duo Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham, who were considered strong favourites.

The midfielder becomes Man City’s first-ever Ballon d’Or winner and Spain’s first since 1960.

Rodri won the English Premier League with Man City and the 2024 Euros with Spain.

The Spanish international has suffered only four losses over the past year.

He will be adding the individual award to a haul of silverware that includes the Premier League, Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup, UEFA Nations League, and the European Championship.
