Cristiano Ronaldo was on the scoresheet to help Al-Nassr secure their first win in the league.

Al-Nassr bashed Al-Fayha 4-1, courtesy of goals from Anderson Talisca, Ronaldo and Marcelo Brozovic.

The win makes it Al-Nassr’s first win in the Saudi Pro League, after playing a controversial 1-1 draw against Al-Raed on matchday one.

Al-Nassr got the first goal in the fifth minute of the opening half as Talisca received a pass from Ronaldo and shot past the goalkeeper.

Ronaldo doubled the league in the stoppage minutes of the first half through a well-placed free kick into the top right corner.

Croatian Brozovic made it three in the 85th minute as Fashion Sakala pulled one back for Al-Fayha to make it 3-1.

Talisca got his second of the night to seal it all for Al-Nassr, as the Luis Castro’s side made it four points in two games.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal makes it his second of the league and fourth of the 2024/25 season.

He is also one goal away from reaching a total of 900 career goals.

Ronaldo has also become the first player to score a goal from a free kick for 23 consecutive seasons, making it 64, one behind Lionel Messi’s 65.

Al Fayha are now winless in their last 11 Pro League matches against Al Nassr (D3 L8), their longest current winless streak against any opponent.

Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr will face a tough test as they host Firmino’s Al Ahli on Sept 13.
