Juventus will travel to face Genoa at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium as they Turin giant hopes to end three-match winless run.
Juve won their first two games, then went on to draw the next three against Roma, Empoli and Napoli.
The Old Ladies will look to return to winning ways as they continue their evolution under new head coach, Thiago Motta.
Motta, who has taken nine points from his first five games, returns to Genoa, after playing and managing the Grifone.
The Brazilian-born urged his team to improve as they hope to challenge Inter Milan for the Scudetto title. “The whole team can improve in terms of precision, because we have the quality to do it”, Motta said.
“We will see where we are in the important months of the season, but it is too early to talk about anything beyond that”, he added.
Speaking on his return to the Luigi Ferraris Stadium, the Bianconeri manager said, “I’ve experienced so good moments. It is a privilege. I enjoyed it both as a player and a coach. I’m always happy to return there.”
Juventus will be playing the game unbeaten and as the only team yet to concede in Europe’s major top five leagues.
However, they could also make history of playing four goalless draw in a row, as Motta is relaxed about his team’s goal-scoring form.
“The offensive phase is not just one player, but the whole team. We have to put attackers and midfielders in a position to do well. We have to create as a team”, He said.
In the end, our goal is to win with our game. I have never perceived anxiety in my team. We aleays want the positive results”, Motta concluded.
Genoa held Inter 2-2 on the opening day and could represent a tricky test for adamant Juventus.
