The Thunder dominated the paint, outscoring the Trail Blazers 52-22 in points in the paint. They also had a significant advantage in second-chance points, 28-13. Despite being outshot from three-point range, 45% to 33%, the Thunder’s strong interior performance made the difference.
For the Trail Blazers, Deni Avdija had a standout game with 28 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds. Toumani Camara also impressed, setting a new career-high with 24 points, along with nine rebounds and four assists.
The Thunder’s victory marked their 37th of the season, solidifying their position as the top team in the league. They improved to 17-5 on the road, while the Trail Blazers fell to 17-29 overall and 9-13 at home.
