Jannik Sinner produced an outstanding performance to win the maiden edition of the Six Kings Slam in Riyadh on Saturday.
The 23-year-old Italian and World No.1 won the event after defeating close rival Carlos Alcaraz for the third (unofficial) time in a row 6-7 6-3 6-3 to win the first edition of the Saudi exhibition.
“I wake up in the morning trying to understand the ways to beat him,” Sinner after beating Carlos Alcaraz at the Six Kings Slam.

Between ATP Tour and Six Kings Slam, all the 4 matches played between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner this year have been won by the player who has lost the opening set.
“I want to say I’m grateful to have him (Sinner) around on tour,” Carlos Alcaraz after losing to Jannik Sinner at the Six Kings Slam Thanks to him I push myself to the limit.
“I give my 100% every day to be a better player. It’s a pleasure every time I share the court with him. Sometimes it’s tough to find the joy. But it’s great every time I face him,” Alcaraz concluded.
The Six Kings Slam is a tennis exhibition tournament held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia during the Riyadh Season. The exhibition takes place on October 16, 17 and 19, 2024. October 18 is a rest day in order to follow an ATP rule that players cannot compete on three consecutive days in an exhibition.
The six players headlining this event are Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev and Holger Rune.
