Real Sociedad handed Barcelona a second La Liga defeat of the season, in a dominating fashion show in San Sebastian.
Sherlado Becker’s first-half goal proved the difference, as the denied the visitors from extending their lead to nine points over Real Madrid.
The Catalans got an early goal through Robert Lewandowski but it was ruled out by VAR for offside.
However, Becker decided the game as he latched on a flick on and hit the back of the net.
Meanwhile, Barcelona surprisingly failed to register a single shot on target.
The Catalans, who were missing the injured Lamine Yamal, had 11 shots in the game but had none on target.
This is the first time in the past 10 years that Barcelona had no shots on target in the entire La Liga game.
The defeat means Barcelona’s leads the table with six points ahead of Real Madrid, who have a game in hand.
