Chelsea made desperate attempt to take over Tottenham move for Mathys Tel
Chelsea had tried interfere with Tottenham Hotspur’s acquisition of Bayern Munich star Mathys Tel on transfer deadline day. Tottenham announced they secured Tel on loan in the late hours of the deadline. Initially, Tel had turned down their offer but eventually agreed to a loan deal with an option to buy for €55 million (£45.7m/$56.9m).
