Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are the last two Premier League teams that haven’t played any game this season. They would be meeting at Old Trafford.
Manchester City, Brighton, Newcastle, and Arsenal presently occupy the top four spots after their opening-day wins. However,a two-goal victory for either Man United or Wolves would be enough to climb into the Champions League spots at the end of the first gameweek. United came off a third-place finish last term, while Wolves ended with 13th position.
Manchester United will face Wolves on Monday, August 14 with kick-off at 8pm at Old Trafford. Last season’s corresponding fixture took place in April, and went the way of the hosts. Anthony Martial gave United a half-time lead, with Alejandro Garnacho making the points safe in second-half stoppage-time.
The match between Man Utd and Wolves would be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League, as part of Sky’s ‘Monday Night Football’ programme. Coverage on both channels will begin from 7pm, with the broadcast running until 11pm.
