Arsenal had turned down Monaco’s offer of £34 million ($43 million) for Balogun Folarin, insisting on at least £50 million ($63 million). Tottenham, along with West Ham and Fulham, are also interested in signing the Arsenal forward.
Tottenham are presently considering making a move for Arsenal forward Balogun as they seek a replacement for Harry Kane who recently moved to Bayern Munich. They seem to have the resources to match such expectations after selling Kane for more than £100 million ($127 million), but they will have to contend with Fulham and West Ham, who are trying to replace Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Balogun led Reims scoring 21 league goals in Ligue 1 last season, and numerous European teams took notice of his impressive record. Spurs are reportedly the newest team to express interest in the forward.
Balogun needs to move on and despite their great rivalry in north London, a move to Tottenham may be the best option.
