Leonardo Trossard has hailed Arsenal’s unity, following the side’s 2-2 draw against Chelsea on Saturday at the Stamford Bridge.
The winger who started from the bench in the encounter scored the last goal of the game a few minutes after Declan Rice pulled one back for Mikel Arteta’s led side to intensify their unbeaten start to the PL.
“It’s really well done to the boys to not get our heads down, and keep on working,” Trossard said post-match.
He added: “That’s how you can even win games as well. We need to take that with us and focus on the next game.
“I’m really pleased [to score], obviously it’s nice if you can help the team with either a goal or an assist, and today, that went my way and I’m happy it gave us a point.
“It’s not easy to have an explanation on that, but we just changed the gear in the second half a bit more.
“We played better, we were more aggressive, and you have to win your duels as well. I think we did better in the second half, and we can score goals like that.”
Speaking on the Gunners’ next game against Sevilla in the UEFA Champions League, the Belgian international added: “We’re going to approach that game the same way we wanted to win this game as well. It’s a Champions League game and we’re looking forward to it.”
