Bayern Munich squeezed into Champions League last-16 on aggregate, following a 1-1 draw with Celtic.
The German side won 3-2 on aggregate, after winning 2-1 in the first leg at Scotland.
A late goal from Alphonso Davies saw the Celtic’s hearts broken by Bayern Munich in the Champions League play-offs, as Vincent Kompany’s side progresses to the last 16.
Bayern continued their struggle in front of goal as it was hard to break down their Scottish visitors.
They also started the game with star striker Harry Kane but had to haul him off at halftime due to injury.
However, Celtic equalised on aggregate thanks to Nicolas-Gerrit Kühn’s effort just after the hour mark. The former Bayern star capitalised on a poor defending from Kim Min-Jae to slide a lovely low finish past Manuel Neuer.
Howbeit, the Bundesliga giants fought back in the final 30 seconds of stoppage time. Davies squeezed in a winner at the back post to send Bayern through. Kasper Schmeichel pulled off a super save from Leon Goretzka’s header, but Davies was on hand to hit home the rebound.
Bayern are now set to face either Atletico Madrid or Bayer Leverkusen in the round of 16 of the competition.
