The Spanish referee body has rolled out punishment on Real Madrid player, Jude Bellingham following his actions on referee Jesus Manzano during the Galacticos’ 2-2 draw with Valencia on Saturday night.
The referee, who blew the full-time whistle just before it, disqualified Bellingham, who appeared to have scored Madrid’s winner with a header in the final seconds of play.
Meanwhile, in reaction to the decision of the referee, Madrid youngster protested, which the referee association found offensive.
As a result of this, Bellingham will miss two games against Celta Vigo and Osasuna. However, the suspension is open to an appeal.
According to the RFEF, they also banned the referee from officiating this weekend’s fixtures.
