Victor Wembanyama is making waves in the NBA! At just 20 years and 314 days old, he’s become the fourth-youngest player to score 50 points in a single game. This impressive feat was achieved during the San Antonio Spurs’ 139-130 win over the Washington Wizards. Wembanyama’s performance included a career-high 50 points and eight 3-pointers.
What’s even more impressive is that he’s in good company, with only Brandon Jennings, LeBron James, and Devin Booker achieving this milestone at a younger age. Wembanyama’s previous high score was 49 points in a 130-126 overtime victory over New York, and he’s now the eighth player in Spurs franchise history to reach the 50-point mark.
This accomplishment is just the latest in Wembanyama’s string of impressive performances. Earlier, he made history by becoming the youngest player to post a 20-point, 20-rebound game, breaking Dwight Howard’s record.
