After back-to-back defeats against Barcelona and AC Milan, Real Madrid have returned to winning ways with victory over Osasuna.
Vinicius Jr scored an hat-trick as Real Madrid won 4-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu.
A game of mixed emotions as Jude Bellingham scored his first goal after 13 games. Madrid also lost Rodrygo and Eder Militao, who were subbed out in the first half due to injury.
However, Vinicius changed the mood of the game as he opened the scoring in the 34th minute, courtesy of an assist from Bellingham.
Five minutes before half time, the English man finally got his name on the scoreboard for the campaign. Having received a brilliant long-range assist from young defender Raul Asencio, Bellingham lobbed the goalkeeper to make it 2-0.
Into the second half, Vinicius scored two goals in 10 minutes to seal the game and complete his second hat-trick of the season.
The Brazilian did wonderfully well to collect an Andriy Lunin pass, rounded up the goalkeeper and scored his second.
He was then set up by Brahim Diaz for his third of the afternoon, which he scored in an emphatic fashion.
The result takes Real Madrid back to within six points of Barcelona. Although, the Catalans could re-establish the nine-point lead with a win at Real Sociedad on Sunday evening.
