The game was closely contested throughout, with the Warriors holding a slim 18-22 lead after the first quarter. However, they pulled away in the second quarter, outscoring the Rockets 31-21 to take a 49-43 lead into halftime. The Warriors maintained their lead throughout the second half, despite a late surge from the Rockets.

Overall, the Warriors’ win over the Rockets was a much-needed boost for the team. It snapped their five-game losing streak and improved their record to 13-8. The Rockets, on the other hand, fell to 8-14. The two teams will meet again on April 7, 2025, at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
