William Saliba has signed a new four-year contract at Arsenal worth £10 million ($12.7m) per year. Following the acquisition of Reiss Nelson, Arsenal has now disclosed Saliba agreement to a new four-year contract. There is no release clause in the £10 million per season contract.
Saliba has been a member of the Gunners since 2019, and although his contract was supposed to expire in 2024, he has now committed to staying with the club till 2027. However, Arsenal is not permitted to further extend the agreement. Saliba has played in 27 Premier League games as Mikel Arteta’s team finished second to Manchester City last year.
Jurrien Timber’s transfer to Arsenal from Ajax is also almost complete, but Arteta might see Saliba as a potential teammate for the Dutchman in 2023–24. He will be looking to assist the Arsenal in this season’s serious Premier League title challenge.
