Jude Bellingham has effectively ruled out playing in the Premier League anytime soon since he plans to stay at Real Madrid for at least ten years. Since he joined Madrid from Borussia Dortmund, the midfielder has scored 10 goals in as many games in all competitions, which is an astounding start.
He has carried over that form to the national team as well. He won a penalty and then contributed an assist as England defeated Italy 2-1 to earn a spot in the 2024 European Championship.
On his path to becoming one of the greatest players in the world, Bellingham has received recognition from teammates, opponents, and previous teammates.
The 20-year-old chose Madrid over teams like Manchester City and Liverpool, so it looks like his Premier League suitors will have a long wait to see if they can persuade him to move out of the Spanish capital.
Bellingham told Channel: “I am loving football at the minute. My management at club and country are giving me freedom to play it how I see it. Since the last few months I have been really working on my timing getting into the box and as I am arriving, i am arriving with a big hunger.
“With the big transfer the fact is I have to deliver, whether it is a goal or assist or a match-winning performance. This is the club I want to be at for the next 10 to 15 years of my life. I am loving it there. Carlo [Ancelotti] basically said this position is where he sees me.”
When Madrid plays Sevilla in La Liga on Saturday, the England player will most likely be on the pitch again.
